What happens that results in the blackscreen failure? Black screen on boot up after first windows login screen |
I use the WiDi to Netgear PTV3000 (works very well) which is on a Sony TV
The first issue with the black screen was last night after using the WiDi for over 2hours, then after some unrelated updating of splashtop and virus checking (no viruses) I rebooted the computer. BLACK SCREEN?
I rebooted in safe mode and did a system restore to two night previous and everything worked ok again. Then done a bit of research on blank screen an found it was a problem so I went to Intels Support checked for driver updates and up dated Graphics to 9.18.10.3257. On re-boot Black screen straight away. Went back to safe mode done a system restore to two night ago (back to listed driver) and everything working well again and reboots not a problem at the moment. I will let you know if the WiDi kicks it off again or it just happens?
Chris.
