Thanks Sergio. I see "Edison" in my Devices section of Finder now. I was able to copy the files over to the Edison, but when I start typing "screen /dev/cu.<TAB>", all I see is screen /dev/cu.usbmodem1423. When I try to screen into that, I get this error:

Cannot open line '/dev/cu.usbmodem1423' for R/W: Resource busy

Sorry, could not find a PTY.

Any ideas? I am using Yosemite though.

I tried this command but still can't see cu.usbserial...

sudo nvram boot-args="kext-dev-mode=1"
