I have the same problem. I am trying to run an embedded PC with the E3845 processor and windows 8.1 Industry Pro. The CustomModeApp process starts and closes right after this. No crash, no report in the windows log file. I am trying to run a x64 Windows with adaptable graphics since the D2550 processor. How is it possible this problem still presists and there is no way to get a custom resolution running on ANY atom processor using 64 Bit?
Running in compatibility mode or as administrator doesnt change anything.
Can some def comment on when this issue will be fixed?
