Yes! Thank you so much! That did the trick. I can't possibly understand why having legacy boot enabled would prevent HDMI audio from not working in a UEFI environment, but I disabled it and it worked right away. I guess if I had followed the official OS install directions, I might not have run into this problem. I had originally installed Windows 7, but couldn't get the LAN Driver installed and switched to Windows 8 to hold me over until proper Windows 7 drivers come out. Thanks again!
